April 2009... Go Daddy!

April was a very busy month....

Casen and Emery are growing and changing so much. They are both crawling like crazy and starting to pull up on furniture. They are very wobbly once standing, but will be off and running before we know it. They are laughing and babbling all day long. They are also very aware of one another and are off to becoming great buddies.

Here are some of our adventures this month....

Playing in our playroom....Easter weekend in Miami....and St. Anthony's Triathlon in St. Pete.

We celebrated Easter Miami style... This was our first experience with Easter baskets.... we loved exploring them and playing with our little hop along bunnies....

We went to St. Pete for the annual St. Anthony's Triathlon.... We stayed at the Vinoy and had a great family weekend.... Greg did a wonderful job... and we are all so proud of him. He came in 8th in his division out of 102! The swim was canceled due to very rough water, but he still had to bike 25 miles and run a 10k.... He did this in 1 hour and 57 minutes! Go Baby!

Casen and Emery wore their TEAM BOSSELER shirts to show their support.... and cheer on their daddy!

We enjoyed a family breakfast....and played in the grass while daddy did his thing....Tuckered out waiting for daddy to cross the finish line....we snoozed in the stroller...
We are so proud of you Daddy....

April was a great month.... fun family times.... I can't believe we will be celebrating the kids 1st birthday next month.....Wow.... time goes by so quickly.....

March 2009... Crawling, Crawling, Crawling

March Flew By.....

So much happened.... The twins both got sick for the first time.... but are feeling a little better now....
Casen got his cranial band... the helmet.... for his plagiocephaly.... which is just a small flat spot on his left side of his head from having torticollis.... which is a tight neck muscle from being squished in my belly with another kid! His neck muscle is now fine.... from physical therapy and stretching... and now they are trying to guide his head growth by fitting him with this helmet.... Greg says it is getting him ready for football....
He doesn't seem to mind it and it is coming in quite handy at this stage for all of his crawling into furniture!
This month Greg and I had the opportunity to do the breast cancer walk with the kids.... it was a great family morning.... for a great cause....Morgan & Morgan does this walk annually so this for sure will become a family tradition....

They are, as I have said before, AMAZING! They have changed so much and have great little personalities. I guess I can't get over the fact they are twins... but are so unique. Casen is an absolute wiggle worm and can't sit still even for a minute. He literally thrashes about in his crib until he instantly falls asleep from utter exhaustion. In this crib shot you can tell that he is very creative with his positions.

Paca came to visit this month.... He took the twins for walks, which gave me some time to do some much needed laundry....He even joined us at music class.... the kids loved free instrument play with their Paca....

This month Emy and Casen also upgraded their car seats to the BIG ones...
I can't believe that things are moving so fast.... now I can see their little smiles when I glance in the rear view.... they are loving watching all the action...

Well, all in all, it was a great month.... I can't believe that they are going to be celebrating
their first birthdays in 2 months....

Easter is around the corner and we are looking forward to going to Miami and spending some time with our family and letting all the cousins hang out.

February 2009... A Day at the Beach

A Day at the Beach!

Emy and Casen's first experience with the sand and seashore....
Daddy spent his time making sure they didn't add seashells to their already expansive diet.
Greg and I had a great day at the beach on Sanibel... we splished and splashed and enjoyed the best fish sandwiches at Grandma Dot's.... What a nice family day!

This month we had lot's of visitors.... Here is one of our favorite buddies... Conrad... This is my best friend Adair's little boy.... I am so happy that we get to raise our kids together.....
This month Emy also got her first tooth.... I was able to snag a picture.... pretty soon her mouth will be full of pearly whites.... we are still waiting for Casen to get his first tooth....
Another buddy who stopped by.... Little Jake.... He is actually 2 months younger
than Casen and Emy... but is huge! It is fun to see all of my friends starting families and our children playing together.
This month Casen is talking and making so many sounds babbling... below are some shots of him verbalizing... from the pictures you can tell he is talking....
(I swear he said... "I love you mommy")

Emy is sitting up so well and playing.... A picture of Emy playing... while her brother took an extra long nap one day......

We visit many parks in the area and this month we hung out at the church park for a day with Liam and some other little buddies
The twins love the swing.... they don't look very happy.... but cry like crazy when I take them out.... I don't get it.....
but they are adorable....

Well they are nine months now... I can't believe it... Greg says they are finally little people. They have very different personalities. Emy is a mommy's girl and very particular. She lets us know if she wants something or is not happy for any reason... not a cry.... but a whine that goes right through you... I think she will be an early talker since she really gets frustrated with not being able to communicate....we are working on some baby sign language. Casen is an easy go lucky boy. So happy and very easy to please. He is army crawling all over the place. They are still taking three naps a day and sleep 7 pm till 7 am every night. They are great sleepers... and eating... well they are eating everything and anything. They are feeding themselves by the handfuls. They love scrambled eggs and toast and pancakes for breakfast... lunch avocados and pasta... and dinner... anything we eat... meatloaf, green bean and mashed potatoes last night. We are still working on drinking from a sippy cup....not too interested right now. They are also in a little weekly music class. They love it... I will try to take some pictures and post them next time. Swimming is next. Well I hope all is well with everyone...

January 2009... A Disney Vacation

Getting Ready for our First Family Vacation....
Rub a Dub Dub.... splish splash in the .... sink! These days the little ones are fitting nicely in the sink for baths.... I couldn't resist snapping some pictures.... I think my mom may have some of me this way as well....These shots are right before we departed for our first vacation.....
Disney World here we come....

Greg ran the Disney Marathon.... and completed the race in 3:58!!! Amazing!!! We were so proud of him.... He reached his goal.... breaking 4 hours. Way to go Daddy! Casen loved playing with his daddy's
big gold medal.....Their personalities are starting to develop and shine! Here are some shots of us playing by the pool.... He is mommy's little ham! He is funny and has a very jovial laugh....

Emy is a bit more particular and just beautiful..... Here is one of my favorite shots of Emery on this trip....Her blue eyes and little tongue poking out.... this is the kind of stuff moms go crazy for about their kids....She got a bottom tooth last week... it is peeking through and adorable.... I will try to get a shot of it soon....There are some pictures of the kids hanging out in the hotel.... before visiting Magic Kingdom....
We had an incredible first family vacation.... We celebrated Greg's B-day on our first night by having sushi at the California Grill and watching the fireworks.... Our 4 year anniversary was the following day and what better way to celebrate it than with a Gator victory! We watched the game on the boardwalk at the ESPN grill....It was yummy and fun....Greg did an awesome job in his first marathon and the kids had a blast.... Who could ask for more....

I will try to upload a little more often.... the kids are changing so much everyday!

We didn't go on too many rides.... but Emy loved them!... She fell asleep on Peter Pan .... in her front carrier.... ZZZzzzzz!
