October 2010... Georgia Race

October

We visited the Pumpkin Patch with our Mommy & Me class.
I was finally able to snag a picture of the twins in one frame. I was hoping for a hug.... but....the picture below will have to do.
Casen really took his time picking his pumpkin to take home....He picked through the piles and finally decided on a smooth round one. He was so proud of it. Emy picked a bumpy one.... It is interesting to see how different they are.

Below are some pictures of everyday things this month.... I can't resist pictures of the kids sleeping when I can creep in and snag them without waking them up. We went to watch the Gator game and eat bar-b-que.
There are also pictures of our traditional weekend First Watch breakfast.
"Family of 5, 3 highchairs, please"
Something I thought I would never say!

Greg competed in an out of state triathlon and we traveled by car to Georgia.
We took Casen with us.... Emery and Cooper stayed with Nona and Paca at our house and played and played....

Below are pictures of race day... Casen and I got to hang out and play and cheer daddy on.... Our good friends the Smiths were there as well....
We had such a blast hanging out and watching our hubbies compete.

Greg did great with an incredible time of 5 hours and 10 minutes...to complete a
1.2 mile swim.... 56 mile bike.... and a 13.1 mile run......
Go Daddy!

When we returned to Fort Myers.... I had a mommy and Emy morning at Bennets for doughnuts.... yum.... We then visited the farmers market for some fresh veggies and had a little downtown playground time....
Emy loves the swings..... she calls them "Wheeeeees"

I also started doing some theme projects with the kids. This month we collected leaves and sorted, painted and did chalk rubbings with them.... Below is a picture of Emy's collection....

Greg and I took the kids to this new park in Cape Coral.... it was beautiful and built in the memory of a very special little boy Liam....
Cooper just hung out in the stroller.... but will be running before we know it....
Emy and Casen climbed and went down the slide over and over again. It is so cute the see how they are developing their balance and agility.

Cooper also celebrated a milestone. Below is a picture of him sitting up by himself for the first time.....Yeah Cooper! He is already pulling to stand now..... where has the time gone...

Daddy snapped some shots of Emy one day.... the entire sequence is adorable....
She sure does love her daddy! There are some more shots of my blue eyed boy! And another weekend breakfast at First Watch! Look closely and you will see Casen's first black eye! Watch out window sill.... here I come.....!

Well it has been awhile to say the least... A few busy months here.... Everyday is an adventure.... I hope this finds everyone in happy spirits.... and....
Happy Halloween to all
