January 2010... Welcome Baby Cooper

Welcome Baby Cooper Riley Bosseler

Born Sunday morning.... January 17, 2010
Weighing... 7 lbs. 6 oz.
20 inches long....
And so loved.....

The deliver went well.... It was the middle of the night when we headed to the hospital and sitting in the room so familiar to me to monitor my contractions.... we were told we were going to deliver in the next hour.... Words that go right through you.... the excitement and the nerves.... I couldn't believe that he was going to be here.... even though you know the end is coming... it is still almost shocking....

When I first saw him.... I remember thinking that he was big.... I guess compared to having twins.... I was just so overwhelmed with hearing him... It is so emotional.... I couldn't wait to hold him.... Being my second c-section... I was more relaxed and able to take it all in.... Greg had the chance to watch the actual c-section... and that is a funny story.... When we delivered the twins.... I was so nervous... I made him sit by my head and talk nonsense to me and look me in the eyes....I kept him so close... but feeling more relaxed and knowing he wanted to peek over the curtain... I was fine with him moving a bit and checking out the big arrival.... His face was priceless and I think he respects the whole delivery more now....

Cooper looked very much like his brother Casen did at birth..... Below are some delivery pictures of Cooper... followed by some of Casen and Emery.... the resemblance is amazing.....

But...he is for sure unique as well..... He is much bigger than they were.... and a nursing champion so far.....
He sleeps so peacefully and is very wiggly when awake.....
And boy is he awake for long stretches of time.... just looking all around so wide eyed....

The twins came to meet their brother.... Casen was more interested in the phone at first..... but then he took the time to notice Coop for a few minutes.... and even kissed him..... before quickly moving back to the buttons on the phone.....
Emy on the other hand was very excited about the present Cooper had for them and played blocks with her Paca....

Greg and I can't believe that he is here.... and we are parents of 3 children!
Officially outnumbered....

December 2009... Christmas and Other Celebrations

December

We started off the month of December with haircuts for the kids.....

Greg and Emy waited patiently for her turn....
Casen was first and eager to sit in the car and play with all the toys the stylist gave him to keep him entertained and distracted.... He did great and looked so cute! But I must admit.... I love his long boy hair and will miss it!

Then it was Emy's turn.... we weren't sure how she would react to it all.... but she did great! She loves the attention!

Christmas Eve this year we celebrated at home since I am now 8 months pregnant and feeling pretty tired. We enjoyed a family dinner and played in the playroom.... reading Christmas stories and snuggling in our Christmas pj's.... Below is a picture of our childproof Christmas tree on Christmas Eve..... right after Santa came to set everything up for all the good little boys and girl. I never thought I would have a "no touch" tree with a an electric fence around it!

Christmas morning was exciting! The kids came out of their rooms to all their new toys.... Casen didn't know what to do.... he ran from toy to toy.... it was hard to get him to sit still for any photos.....Love the bed head....
my little boy!.....Emy loved her Elmo Live....and carried him around from toy to toy... Santa was so good to the little twins....

Emery got a pink Cozy Coup..... but loved her brother's red one....future advice to self.... get two of whatever.... but make sure it is EXACTLY the same....

Greg's parents came to visit for a few days and while they were here they took the kids on the Christmas Train at Lakes Park.....I was not allowed to ride the train.... since I am pregnant but enjoyed a quiet 20 minutes to myself watching the Florida sun set.... I love living here....

Greg and I celebrated many things at the beginning of January.....
We celebrated his birthday on the 7th.... Our 5th anniversary on the 8th.... He passed his board certification exam.... (very big deal).....
and.... we are about to complete our family on the 26th....

To celebrate all these things.... I planned a fun... comedy filled night.... we rented a limo with friends... enjoyed a great dinner....played games.... yes games.... that resulted in wearing funny costumes if you lost..... laughed..... ate cake.... and went to a comedy show......It was the latest I have stayed up in a long....long.... time.... We had a blast.....

Well it is almost here.... the birth of our 3rd child.... We are scheduled for a c-section on the 26th of January.... only 10 days away..... I may make it.... I may not.... (I've been having contractions) Regardless of the day he arrives.... we feel very blessed and full of love.... We have beautiful wonderful children who are so special to us in so many ways.... We are excited to give them a younger brother and can't wait to get to know our new love and all the things that make him special..... We are so appreciative for the things in our lives, our health.... our parents.... our family.... our beautiful home in Florida.....
