December 2012: It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas....

This year.... this year, the kids got it...
They understood it all.... from Christmas is coming..... Santa.... reindeer.... snooping spying elves.... giving gifts to friends..... school vacation.... toys....
& they even understood it is the celebration of the coming and birth of Jesus....

It was so special watching them.... my children through this time.... watching their faces.... their growing excitement.... their belief in magic and wonder.

We had a fun filled holiday season to say the least.... I recovered enough from my surgery to set things in order and enjoy this time.... I thank God for helping me to heal and continue to heal through this process so that I don't miss a moment with my family....

We visited Santa... wrapped and decorated.... baked and played.
We each participated in our school Christmas performances....
And
We enjoyed a quick trip to Lego Land with Daddy while on our mini school/Christmas break....

This kids love to (and are continuing) to tell each other daily that they are going to be on the "good list" or "naughty list" next year.... depending on what is occurring at that moment.

They are all starting to play together nicely and we are beginning to fall into a nice flow around the house....

We have so much to look forward to in January....
Daddy's birthday... our anniversary.... Cooper turning 3....
a quick trip up north with Emy to meet my brother's new baby girl Addison....
much to do and be thankful for....

As always, I thank God for his grace and presence in our lives and pray that he continue to bless our family and guide me and Greg through this honor of raising a family.
