Morning Moments...

Psalm 90:12
Teach us to count up the days that are ours, and we shall come to the heart of wisdom.

This morning I woke up with Casen in our bed.... he had wandered in during the night..... Greg and I had gone out the night before and left him with a sitter.....
I was surprised to see him in zip jammies..... he hates them.... I think they are the cutest things on kids.... but he will have no part of it....
Betsy some how got him in these.... probably.... no most definitely for the last time....

As that sunk in I ran for my camera.....
the last time....
He has grown so much his little limbs are stretching the material and they don't even reach to his wrists and ankles....
My little boy.... my tiny precious little boy....
never to wear little boy jammies again.....

how quickly time passes.....
it isn't the passing of time that bothers me as much as my lack of realization how fleeting these moments are.... how precious....

Dear God,
Thank you for the many blessing overflowing in my life and filling my days, hours, and minutes....please help me to remain conscience of how each second is an unmeasurable gift and help me to treasure them as they come.... as they are... and as they pass....
Amen

Passing Time

Your skin like dawn
Mine like musk

One paints the beginning
of a certain end.

The other, the end of a
sure beginning.

Easter

Easter Season was so joyous.
We celebrated Saturday with the Bosseler side of the family in Everglades City.  On the way we stopped by a local feed store to meet some ducks and chicks..... the kids were fascinated by the little creatures!  We continued on the City Seafood.... For lunch we enjoyed fresh crab and shrimp.... fished off the docks...and ate ice-cream.
It was nice to see the cousins, aunties, uncles, and Nona & Paca....
What a great way to start the weekend....
We then headed home to get the kiddos down for bed and wait for the Easter Bunny..... who was not ready at all for the evening.....
The next morning the kids woke up to find a trail and clues to their baskets.... it started with the bunny prints in our driveway.... Emy was fascinated with them....
The kids enjoyed their treasures and gobbled their peep pancake breakfast.... Greg and I rushed to get everyone ready and out the door for morning service.....
We arrived late.... but still felt and celebrated the rising of our savior.  Although many times it is not so nice not having a seat in church, it is nice to see that many people celebrating this special occasion that is at the heart of our faith.
We had a very quiet relaxing Easter lunch at our house with our good friends, The Smith family.... the kids swam ALL day and only stopped for a quick bite to eat and an egg hunt..... Needless to say out kids were asleep by 6:30....
I loved the day....
I love my family.... and I thank God above for these special times together.
