Happy Birthday Emy Mae
This weekend we celebrated Emery turning 4. The twins decided they wanted to have separate parties this year....Emy wanted a mermaid theme and Casen.... well you'll see next week....
Emy invited the little girls from her class.... they enjoyed yummy food.... swimming and bracelet making.... digging for buried treasures and of course.... Arial....
Arial stopped by for a some singing and splashing.... she of course brought her glitter tattoos....
I can't believe that Emy is 4.... I think I've said that every year on her birthday.... but it is truly what my heart feels.....disbelief....
I am doing better these days to treasure the moments.... taking time to see my children.... really see who they are and are becoming..... not who I want them to be.....
Emy.... is a firecracker.... she is beauty and light and wants to be watched....as she sets the sky on fire with a loud announcement.... "Look at ME!"
but like a firecracker she cannot be held... she doesn't like cuddles that linger.... as I so often try to do.... but a quick hug.... and kisses? forget about it....
she yearns to be near... to be involved....
she enjoys small things.... lip gloss... a pen.... she is simple and lovely in her play....
but COMPLEX in her emotions....
She is determined like no other child I have, and knows what she wants....
She is funny... polite.... and kind (sometimes)....inquisitive and did I mention determined....?
I love her with all my heart.... my hopes for her happiness are immeasurable...my worry for her heart the same...I pray for her.... I thank GOD for her every morning and every night....
She is my noodle....
